Destinies
Destinies är ett kommande tredjepersonsäventyr med ingen mindre än Jonathan Boakes (mannen bakom Dark Fall-spelen) som chefsdesigner. Här hittar du spelets hemsida.

“Destinies” is a place...far away from all that you know, yet as near as your own heartbeat. It is a pathway to an adventure across space and time. Your journey begins on a planet, set at the edge of a distant galaxy. Anthranella, paradise of our universe. Perhaps...or is it something very different? A great adventure begins many times with just one man. Meet Marc Taszicky, a 37 years old physics professor who leads a quiet solitary existence on earth, until his life is shattered by the unexpected and mysterious death of Peter Vinci, a colleague and old friend. Peter had recently returned from an unexplained visit into uncharted space. However, why he went there and what he found is a mystery. For he arrived clinging to life, raving and delirious. Death followed quickly with Peter's dying words providing the only crytpic clues as to where he had been. What Marc pieces together in his search for their meaning takes him back to their beginning, to a long forgotten failed experiment and to the present, to a planet called Anthranella IX. He boards a flight in a desperate search for the truth. What caused his friend to leave so secretively, what did he discover and most importantly, why did he die? Marc hopes for answers, but he may find much more. He may just discover his destiny...

The Island: The Earthling
Akella har just släppt nyheten att de ska göra ett spel av bröderna Strugatskys bok Inhabited Island. Här är ett citat:

This is the age of mankind’s prosperity. FSG Pilots (Free Search Group) are exploring the universe. Our Hero – Maksim Kammerer – is forced to perform an emergency landing on the planet Sarkash, where, a few minutes after, his ship is destroyed and he becomes a prisoner on the unknown planet.
It turns out that there is human civilization on this planet. Its level of development is much like the level of our civilization in the 20th century. A protracted nuclear war almost completely destroyed the planet’s ecology, and the surviving population still suffers. Their painfully obtained peace remains very unstable and a loathsome truth is hidden behind it. Maksim Kammerer must break through a veil of lies to find out what it is.

Intervju med Benoit Sokal
Den polska sidan Przygodoskop har intervjuat Benoît Sokal (Amerzone, Syberia I-II) som just nu jobbar med spelet Lost Paradise under "labeln" White Birds Productions. Intervjun handlar om allt från Sokals bakgrund som serietecknare, steget över till datorspelsvärlden det kommade spelet Lost Paradise, ett nytt projekt "Aquarica" m.m. Läs intervjun här.

Paradise
White Birds har kortat ned namnet på sitt kommande spel från Paradise Lost till Paradise. Adventure Gamers har tittat närmare på spelet och verkar mäkta imponerade. Här är ett citat:

While White Birds is moving ahead on many fronts, for now our focus returns to Paradise. Having had a chance to experience the game first-hand, are we excited? Absolutely, as this looks to be a polished, engaging world, both for the senses and the imagination. Ankh
Adventure Gamers har förhandstittat på Ankh. Sammanfattningen lyder:

Ankh is planned for release at the end of this year. Deck 13 recently revealed that Telltale Games (a startup studio comprised of many former LucasArts veterans) will provide creative consulting during the game's development. With such esteemed help — and judging from what we've seen of the game for ourselves so far — Ankh looks to inject some lighthearted comedy back into the adventure genre, which is something that's been sorely lacking in recent years' releases
