Lost Paradise
Sokals bolag White Birds Productions kommande spel Lost Paradise har funnit en europeisk distributör i det franska bolaget Micro Applications.
På siten Adventuregamers gör man följande uttalande:

"It is with great pride that we announce this agreement today. It is our ambition to become an essential player on the adventure game market. In this respect, including Lost Paradise in our product catalogue seems an obvious choice, especially in the light of the project's attractive nature, Whitebirds' dynamic work team and Benoît Sokal's unquestionable talent. The release of Lost Paradise will be without a doubt a major event at the end of this year", confides Rémy Poirson, the Marketing Director for Games & Internet at Micro Application, which also hold the European rights for The Longest Journey: Dreamfall.

UK, 18/01/20005 – Independent Games Developer Hiding Buffalo are delighted to announce the launch of their private detective game Gumshoe Online.
Gumshoe Online is a point and click adventure game, set in the crime ridden streets of 1930’s America, a time where everyone has something to hide. With its “film noir” setting, gripping storylines and mind-bending puzzles, Gumshoe Online will appeal to adventure gamers and fans of the crime and mystery genre alike.
Nic Kjellin, programmer said “This is a very exciting time for us; I’ve always loved crime stories and it’s great to make a game that blends the suspense of the detective novel with the challenge of an adventure game”.
Gumshoe Online is played over the Internet with a standard web browser, a feature that strengthens the game’s mass-market appeal. Iwan Roberts, programmer said “Using web technology makes Gumshoe Online available to almost anyone, anywhere. The player just logs into the website and plays”.
By releasing new cases at regular intervals, Gumshoe Online will build into an exciting library of mysteries, a detective series where the player has the staring role.
To celebrate the launch of the Gumshoe Online, the first case “Moonshine” is available at an introductory price of 2.99GBP for a limited period. The first five detectives to achieve top ranking in the case will also receive an Amazon voucher.

Cyan Worlds och Ubisoft har på siten Myst Worlds gått ut med nyheten att Myst V: End of Ages är i produktion. Tanken är att spelet ska ges ut under hösten i år.
